Machine of the week : CNC Plasma Cutter

I recently found a nice build log about setting up a CNC Plasma Cutter. http://cncplasmabuild.com/buidpage18.html Plasma cutters uses a high-frequency, high-voltage spark to ionize the air through the torch head and initiate an arc that can cut thick plates of steel.

Robot of the week : Origami Inspired Wheels that adjust accordingly to load

As in nature, robots need to learn to adapt or die. These origami inspired wheels increased the load capacity of a robot without the need for extra power. It also helps the robot to get into small space for jobs like search and rescue.
